My Special Thanks

Christmas is the only time in the year when mot people give gifts. Sometimes, I feel sad because they do not know the real meaning of Christmas. It is the celebration of the coming of our savior, Jesus Christ. It is renowned on how we accept Him here in our hearts and not on the traditional gift-giving.

Nonetheless, I want to thank the people who gave gifts to me from the bottom of my heart.

Josef – Thank you for the card (cards I mean) that you gave to me. I’m not really after the gift but the essence of the gift you gave. The content of the letter was overwhelming and you touched my heart. Thank you.

Krishna – Hearing you say “thank you” after you received my gift made my heart jump with glee. I’m not being exaggerated because I really feel that way. I find it hard to think a gift that will fit and suit you because I know your taste. That is why when you said thanks, I feel that you liked my gift and thus, my effort was all worth it.

Louisen – You really didn’t expect that letter of mine, did you? I don’t know but it was you I really thought of to give that letter to. I’m glad to know that I made you happy and the content of my letter didn’t disappoint you.

Adrian – Though I had told you to give me a wrist watch this Christmas because that is what I really want, let me thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me two miniature angels. I really appreciated your effort. Thanks. I’m not disappointed or anything because, as I’ve said, it’s the thought that counts!

All I want to say is, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Hope that you would never, ever forget the true meaning of Christmas and why are we really celebrating it.

Disco Party: A MAJOR Disappointment

IT IS SO NOT FAIR!!!

Why did they have to stop the party when everyone's just being turned on? It is so unfair. Why did one’s fault punish all of us? Why did they have to be very strict that night when in fact they want us to have fun? How can we have fun when we are very restricted by the rules?

Last night, December 19, Disco cum Christmas Party cum Hip-hop dance contest was held at PHS grounds. It is supposed to start at exactly 5, but it started already at quarter to 6. We students didn’t dance right after the program started because contenders for the Hip-Hop dance contest were to present their dance pieces. We are not allowed to stand up, so even though we can’t see the dancers we just pretended we did. Frankly speaking, it bored me to hell. Good thing was, I brought a book, a romance novel to read on. It was way more interesting and challenging than the party that was happening. I’m really against of the contest that was held because it’ll just lessen our time to dance. And when the competition was over, we ate our foods. Then the “real party” started. We danced, even though we don’t know how to, just letting our bodies move into the beat of the sound. The sounds were not that good, and the lights were not good either compared to the great combinations of music and light effects the previous years. An hour later, by 8:30 pm, a not-so-good incident happened. One was injured because somebody did it to him intentionally. That stopped the whole fun, if we were really having fun.

The event last night, if I’ll call it, was a mess, a wreck and a major disappointment. Why?

1. The party was only 5 hours.

2. The fact that we cannot dance our hearts out for 5 hours. Subtract the time for opening program, the contest, the teachers’ sermon, our eating of the food and everything.

3. We only danced for an hour!

4. The sweet/slow music was only three! (as I can remember. King and Queen of Hearts, The One Who Won My Heart, I forgot the other one.)

5. We are very bounded by the rules plus the fact that our teacher always has her eye on us.

6. My classmates are killjoy. They are not dancing. They’re just staring to me as if saying, “Huh?! What are you doing?”

7. The party was cut around 8:30 because of that freakin’ incident.

8. Platinum received only ONE award (or should I say TWO?)

9. I’m not satisfied with the food. Ang mahal ng binayad ko dun aah! Tapos yun  lang? Graham Cake was the only masarap and yet, minimal amount can be given to each of us. So bitin! (Good thing Regie gave his share to me! Ha-ha!)

10. We were allowed to leave the school quarter to ten. Tsk!

Only means a thing, I did not enjoy, well for an hour, I did. Plus that I’m with him in going home!

Xiao! Hula ko, next year, wala ng ganito. Baka nga pati JS 'di na tayo magkaroon eh! Tsk. 'Wag naman!

I Love..

Love and Like have different meanings.. very different meanings. In our age, teenagers, we often have this misconception that what we have for a boy is already deep love when in fact, we just simply like him, or, infatuated to him. Another reason is, some are JUST IN LOVE WITH THE THOUGHT OF BEING IN LOVE, right?

Me? I don't love anyone (except for my family, of course). I just like them all, with great affection that is.

Aside from my girl friends, these are the men I like (in random order ha-ha!):

1. DOTA MASTER- well, he calls himself that, I was attached to him summer this year. We just texted until the wee hours of the morning. Until now, I can confide my MINOR secrets to him. He was once my crush.

2. XYZ - I still like him. Well, I guess so. I can say so because I can still feel it, the hurt of being rejected, the way he doesn't see me as I am. Besides, some feelings won't easily die, that is. ha-ha.

3. TEDDY BEAR - I just started to know him "in a new light" recently. Well, we've known each other eversince we entered high school. As I knew him better, I'm beginning to like him.

4. JEEPMATE - I like this boy. He is not a member of the cream section but, I admire his wits. He has the guts to face me and talk to me while his friends are being intimidated (am i intimidating?). We already had some very nice and comfy chit-chats while waiting for a jeepney (he lives along c-5 like me, that's why.

OKAY, that's all for today. My time has come. Have you guessed my blind items? They're cool. Try to know them.

Au revoir!

Time Pressure

Sometimes, it is really bad to go to net cafes. Why? because computers there works badly, the internet connection is so slow, aside from the mere fact that there are viewers on everything you do. Silently criticizing every single enter you make. When you think that everything's going on smoothly, you'll realize you're wrong... dead wrong.

This is exactly what I feel this very moment. It seems like I'm surrounded with the thought that I have only 30 minutes left! I'm struggling with this freakin' mouse yet, I haven't accomplished any of the tasks I'm supposed to do. I want to scream, I want to release this anger inside me.

In addition to my complaints, these viruses on the computer piss me off! Why are there so many virus in the world-wide web? It just keeps my precious time wasted in attempt to close it before it's too late because I'll be definitely humiliated to my friend that receives the malicious things that the virus automatically opens and sends the file, which, unfortunately, happened to me a lot of times now.

I'm sad to say that there are so many setbacks of being in an internet cafe.. but, then again, what can I do? It's as if I have a choice. I can't do nothing but to compromise, can I?
